What is a Location Support Personnel?

Location Support Personnel are permitted temporary-employees of Film and Television Productions across Ontario. Concepts is not a temporary-for-hire agency. We are a specialized company that provides opportunities for those trying to break in to the Film Industry.

The LSP Category has been a part of the Directors Guild of Canada for over a decade, providing a Collective Bargaining Agreement covering all LSP’s across all productions. When a production begins, their Locations Department is responsible for providing personnel for parking, film-liaison’s for properties we film at, and supporting anything the neighbourhood may need to conform to municipal and provincial permits.

At Concepts, we have over 25 years experience in doing so. Although we can not guarantee employment as the needs of each production vary daily, we take best effort in supplying opportunities for those who may not have them. While providing familiar faces to production over time. Many of the LSP’s we give opportunities too, move on to take employment with productions as a Locations Production Assistant.
